Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American performer, actress and music producer. The majority of people recognize the name as Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. Her primary focus is as an actor. According to her, music is her primary passion. It's something she was experimenting in since the age of nine years old. At 12 years old, her music began to take more serious form and she began professional training. Following a few attempts at music, she decided to record her first album of songs at age 14. From that moment on, she has never been back. Orrantia is a native American with Hispanic roots. Although she was raised speaking only English and has never lived in Mexico she is very satisfied with her Hispanic heritage. Through studying Spanish and writing songs, she is trying to preserve the tradition. One of her efforts was an original Spanish song called 'Hasta Verte.' Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was selected and she was awarded four "yeses", or votes for the judges during The Seattle audition. Her initial audition was for solo performance, however, during "Hollywood week" she was put with three other female vocalists into a trio for the remaining auditions. They were eliminated in the fifth week of live show.
