Luciana was raised to be a child in Rome through her father and mother - Luciana's father was Manlio Paoluzzi an Italian army officer and her mother was Maria Rota Paoluzzi who was the one of Benito's mistresses. It's not clear if she has any siblings. Her high school was a neighborhood school and upon matriculating in 1955 she studied navy engineering at the Scientific Academy of Milan - Luciana was the only woman in her class. Within two years she started her modeling career. Soon after, she was offered the chance to appear in Three Coins in the Fountain when she was in Rome visiting a family friend of her father. Brett Halsey - an actor - was her first spouse. After their wedding in 1960, the couple produced a film together called Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana was given custody of the film when they split just a couple of years later. Charles became a baby. Luciana had a long-term relationship with Tony Athony, an actor and film producer. Tony was inspired by the character of Luciana on Green Slime to create the Spaghetti Western.
