Annie Mist Thorisdottir from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit Athlete. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the first female to take home in the CrossFit Games twice. In both 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete as well as a media star. The media has praised her for being the first woman ever to win two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, and in 2017 she took home the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie together with her parents and her siblings, was birthed at Reykjavik Iceland. She enjoyed playing sports and began working out at when she was a young age. In 2009, she participated in the CrossFit games at California where she performed relatively well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir in 2021, was aged 31. She is 5' 7 tall, and weighs about 67 pounds. Annie started CrossFit back in California. At the beginning of her competition, she did very well and was ranked in the top 10 among 70. However, she didn't win a title and finished the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's direction, she was awarded the silver medal in the CrossFit Games. The following year, she participated again in CrossFit games and because of her dominant performance she won the contest as the very first female to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. Annie was the first female who has ever won consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. In addition, in 2014 she won a silver medal and recently in 2021 won the bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie's growing popularity as an athlete has seen her become the model for a variety of brands in sports, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. Some 2,000 people have subscribed to her self-titled Youtube Channel, where training videos as well as travel and family videos are posted.
