Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in America for more than 40 years. Most famously, she is known for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Her stage work began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. After that, she performed in a number of Broadway productions before she became the most famous on stage alongside Li'l Abner in. The same year, she debuted her debut musical album, This is Tina Time. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was when she played Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, a 1958 film. The film was met with wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's pupil. Louise joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise maintained a successful career, balancing Broadway television with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious rather than the glamour doll image she had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's also become a popular director for well-known television shows like Supernatural or The 100. The family she was born into moved out of Essex to Toronto, where she spent childhood and adolescence. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She was there ever since.
