David Muir (born August 25 1949) is a famous American journalist, anchor and reporter. He is most well-known for his show World News Tonight. With animated animations and funny videos of celebrities' news, the show is now America's top-rated newscast. Also, he is known for his Emmy-nominated program Made In America. He was Diane Sawyer's primary replacement anchor until he was appointed anchor at ABC World News Tonight. His primetime reports to ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint: Refugees in America. His journeys have taken him to all corners of the earth and include Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and more. His awards include multiple Edward R.
