Zoe-perry
Perry was born in Chicago to two actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Her first roles on television included two roles as Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) in the ABC sitcom Roseanne, the character portrayed by her mom. Perry did not decide to pursue acting as a career until she reached adulthood because her parents were concerned about the adverse consequences stress can be a cause of. In the same year, she portrayed a child version of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory) as her mother in a younger version. The character was picked via auditions having a strong relationship with the show.
