Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer as well as an animal rights activist. She has been acclaimed by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) and The Getaway, (1972). When she was in New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. The first job she had was a photo assistant. She then moved on to modeling and acting. MacGraw was noticed in her two first films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. MacGraw became a global star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. Within just three short films she was the highest-rated female box office actress across the globe. Her footprints from 1972 and autograph were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
